How does one track 2 divers on 1 computer with DM4?

My wife and I both use Zoops and wish to track our dives on DM4. Is there a way to use 2 Zoops with one DM4 installation?

The only way to do this in DM4 is to add a tag for each dive (for example with your name for your dives and your wife's name for hers) and then select to view the dives by tags.

it wont connect to pc ive tried everything possable

ive tried tried and tried movescount is not connected ive unistalled reinstalled 20+times !!!!!!!! zoop is in pc set mode i have dives in log book it wont !!!!!!!!!! effing connect iot will be getting returned and a different brand of dive computer purchsed if this isnt sorted today

When the Zoop is connected to your home computer and the program Movescount is loaded and waiting, nothing will happen because the Zoop needs to be put in a mode where it will talk to the home computer. So open your Zoop user's manual or find it online here:
http://ns.suunto.com/Manuals/Zoop/Userguides/Suunto_Zoop_UserGuide_EN.pdf

At the bottom of page 67 is section:
4.1.3. Data Transfer and PC-Interface [3 PC-SET]

The first sentence on page 68 tells the story:
To enter the Data Transfer select MODE- 1 MEMORY- 3 PC - SET (Fig.4.14)

Once you enter the PC SET mode the Zoop will speak to your home computer and the Movescount program and upload your dive information. Also I believe your dive information is also uploaded to Movescount in the cloud so you can never lose this information.

Zoop have a circular memory, meaning that once the memory is full the oldest dives will be overwritten. The amount of dives you can store in the dive computer depends on which sample rate (the frequency at which data is stored) you have chosen. It will keep track of all total dives that you have done so that's why it says that you have 24, but you can only see 19.

Question

After juist 2 dives using zoop, I now get an ER (error) message and no more information ?

This is a brand new computer used twice. The computer is giving an er message . Same thing happened to someone I know . Any idea what happened and how to solve it ?

lost data

everytime i clean up my computer with CCleaner and Eusing free registry cleaner i loose the suunto application an thus also all my transferred dives. when i connect my dive computer again all the dives are downloaded again, until the last time. only 78 dives of 104 were transferred.
how can i adjust this clean up programs so suunto DM4 stays on my computer.

Hello Nick,

If you mean that you cannot connect your Suunto Zoop to your DM4, because it conflicts with an existing Moveslink(2)/Movescount connection, there is a way to shut down the communication between Moveslink(2) and Movescount. Please navigate to "Settings" > "Applications" and click on "Ignore". Should you still experience an issue, please make a screen shot of what you see to support@suunto.com . Thanks!

How can I change the date in my history and logbook on the Zoop.

I have two dives that show the wrong date in my history log on my Zoop because I had it set incorrectly. how can I adjust to read the correct date?

Hello Scott,

There is no back light on the Suunto Zoop, as it uses a phosphorescent display, which glows up in the dark.

It will do that nothing to worry about it just meens to look at the date you have done the dives on , it will show all 4 dives if you did them on the same date 3and 4 will 1 and 2 on the other day , does not carry on counting the dives

In History you can see every dive that you have done but just a summary over it. In the logbook you can see the latest two dives with some more information.

The warranty is always established by the receipt, never by adding a Serial Number to MySuunto. Please hold on to the receipt for warranty matters.

Question

DM4 - Can't transfer plan to Zoop

Hi,
Just purchased a Zoop and installed DM4. Software sees the dive computer ok but it won't let me upload a plan. The dropdown for the model type only contains about half a dozen selections and the Zoop is not one of these, so I have to select "Other". This selections disables the plan transfer selection. Anyone any ideas?
